Description
CRON is a spin off from the National Institute for Space Research - INPE and the Air Force R&D Dept. - DCTA. It was founded in 2015 and its founders have more than 30 years developing space missions either with large satellites (2 ton) as well as nanosats, from 1kg mass up to 10 kg. They also are experienced in certification, planning, international cooperation and high tech complex projects. CRON is able to conceive, develop, integrate, test, launch and operate space missions with small sats, in a prime contractor role for the whole mission or part of it. Presently CRON has projects and contracts with the Brazilian Space Agency - AEB within a consortium, INPE and universities (cubesat missions) and the private sector, this one for a co-developer of the brazilian small launcher ML-BR. These products and services cover application fields such as remote sensing with cubesats, both optical and in situ sensors, dynamic navigation, space launching, science missions as well as non LEO orbit.
