Epic of Sun

Epic of Sun is changing the way Earth observation satellites are used. Instead of acting solely as sensors that capture images for processing on the ground, we are developing a new generation of satellites capable of interpreting data directly in orbit through onboard Artificial Intelligence, dramatically reducing the time between data acquisition and decision-making.

We are developing the Pallás Constellation, a fleet of satellites equipped with Edge AI designed to transform space data into actionable intelligence for agriculture, mining, environmental monitoring, water resources, and disaster response. In parallel, we are advancing next-generation imaging technologies, including photon-counting cameras that will be integrated into the second phase of the Pallás Constellation, expanding Earth observation capabilities under challenging conditions.

Epic of Sun was selected for the NVIDIA Inception program, which supports high-potential AI startups worldwide, and gained international recognition after being awarded at the CopernicusLAC Hackathon, an initiative supported by the European Space Agency (ESA) and its partners to foster innovative applications based on Earth observation data.
