Description

Founded in 2007, Mac Jee is a 100 % Brazilian defense company, being the country's 4th biggest defense exporter in 2024. It has began by delivering aerospace-grade connectors and wiring for Brazil’s VLS and Argentina’s Tronador-2 launchers. It has since grown into a supplier of complete electrical solutions for Federal Police special vehicles, Avibras ASTROS rockets and other flagship platforms.
Since 2017, the company shifted its commercial strategy from being a components supplier towards a defense & aerospace OEM: The first TNT/RDX production facility in the Middle East was delivered by Mac Jee. Also, it created the innovative and versatile Armadillo multiple-rocket launch system, with two international patents in 34 countries.
Operating modern factories in São José dos Campos and Paraibuna, both in São Paulo state, built with over R$ 120 million of private capital, the group now serial-produces MK-80 ammunitions and exported more than 30.000 rounds to several countries. Its smart weapons division introduced the Dagger precision-guidance kit, an electronic fuze family and Latin America’s first pilot line for high-energy HMX explosive.
Supported by Brazil’s largest defense-innovation Federal grant, the 2024 RATO-14X hypersonic accelerator project anchors the Brazilian Air Force’s future Microsatellite Launch Vehicle (VLM) and marks Mac Jee’s entry into the launch-vehicle domain.

Mac Jee is currently participating in the RATO-14X (Rocket Assisted Take-Off) project, a rocket-assisted take-off system developed by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), through DCTA and partners such as Mac Jee, to boost the 14-X hypersonic vehicle. At around 14 meters, the rocket will take the 14-X to more than 30 km in altitude and Mach 8+.
