Orbital Engenharia is a 100% Brazilian Strategic Defense Company, founded in 2001, that provides cutting-edge technologies for the design, manufacture, assembly, integration, and testing of systems and equipment for Space and Defense applications. Its Quality Management System is certified according to ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards by TÜV NORD Brazil.
Orbital Engenharia supplies solar generators for space use, with equipment that has a proven flight history on the Amazonia 1, CBERS 2B, CBERS 3, CBERS 4, and CBERS 4A satellites, in addition to dozens of solar panels on national and international cubesats.
Other contributions from Orbital Engenharia to the Brazilian Space Program include the development, manufacturing, and flight integration of the Suborbital Microgravity Platform (PSM), Liquid Rocket Engine Feed System (SAMF), onboard electronic equipment for the VSB-30 suborbital vehicles, as well as the accumulated experience in launch operations at CLA and CLBI.
Orbital Engenharia participated in the complete development cycle of the Strategic Defense Project 14-X, being responsible for the manufacturing, integration, and testing of the payload with a SCRAMJET engine for hypersonic flight testing.
