Outer Space is a Brazilian deep-tech company specializing in space propulsion R&D, systems integration, and rocket development for small launch vehicles. In 2024, we were contracted by MCTI (Ministry of Science, Technology e Innovation) to implement and coordinate Brazil’s first rocket laboratory in the Southern region, establishing a comprehensive testing facility with four specialized areas: command & control, workshop, chemical storage, and the LPB (Basic Propulsion Laboratory) for lab-scale testing and prototyping of solid, hybrid, and liquid rocket propulsors.

Our mission is clear: reach space (100 km altitude) by 2030 through our “Space or Nothing” program, focusing on controllable hybrid propulsion systems. We combine theoretical modeling, experimental validation, and system integration, building a robust foundation for launch vehicle solutions.

Through SpaceLab (YouTube and Instagram) our educational outreach initiative, we document our journey on social media and YouTube, inspiring the next generation of engineers by demonstrating that space is just one rocket away. Our integrated approach spans from concept design to test bench validation, positioning us as a key player in Brazil’s emerging aerospace economic matrix in the Southern region.
